Hi, I am an accounting graduate but I graduated over 10yrs ago. I am employed right now in a government agency doing clerical work. And just recently, I've been accepted in one of the call centers here in Cebu. My employment status in the government agency is casual and I feel I am not growing at all, not even an inch. I wanted to try working in a dynamic environment but my friends kept discouraging me with the call center job because they said though the pay is high, it's degrading knowing that the callers will really pin you down and will look down on you. I am planning to tender my resignation with the government agency and try the call center industry. Please help me decide. I know I like to try working in a call center but part of me wants to keep my old job still no matter how boring it is because I don't wanna be unemployed. Please help me...I seldom get on line..but you may reach me at my email add louela_trapela@yahoo.com. Thanks so much.

I'VE BEEN WORKING IN A CALLCENTER FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS NOW. ALL I CAN SUGGEST IS TO FOR YOU TO HAVE A TIME MANAGEMENT TO BALANCE YOUR LIFE. AS A SAYING GOES " THE GREATER THE RISK, THE GREATER THE POTENTIAL SUCCESS. NOTHING VENTURED, NOTHING GAINED. IF YOU WANT ACTION, WORK IN A CALLCENTER.
